Throughout the year, Chinmayaranyam celebrates major Hindu festivals with grandeur, devotion, and community participation.

Bhoomi Pooja Day (Feb 8)

Procession with Gurudev's Padukas and Paduka Pooja near Chinmaya Smaaraka Sthoopam, commemorating Gurudev blessing the land in 1982.

Sankranthi (3 days)

Bhogi fire, Sankranthi Lakshmi Pooja, and Go-Pooja. Children enjoy bull decoration, festive lunch with sweets, and blessings from elders.

Maha Sivaratri

Sahasra Bilvarchana, Mahannyasa Poorvaka Rudrabhishekam, Rudra Homam, and Maha Parthivalingeswara Pooja with nearly 1,000 lingas made of Panchagavya.

Ugadi & SeetaRama Kalyanam

9 days of Vasantha Nava Ratri Poojas from Ugadi. SeethaRama Kalyanam on the 9th day followed by a village procession with singing and dancing.

Gurudev Jayanti & Aradhana

Both days celebrated in devotion with Paduka procession and Pooja honouring Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda.

Guru Purnima

Pooja to the entire Guru Parampara and all traditional Gurus on Vyasa Poornima, honouring the sacred teacher-student lineage.

Vara Lakshmi Vratam

Saamoohika (community) Varalakshmi Vratam organized for village women, fostering devotion and praying for the well-being of all.

Krishnashtami

Panchamrita Abhishekam, Akhanda Nama Japam, Gokula-style dances and kolatam, Geeta Chanting, and midnight pooja with Prasadam distribution.

Ganesh Jayanthi

Eco-friendly celebration with clay murtis decorated only with turmeric and kumkum. Two days of pooja followed by procession and immersion in the Ashram's pool.

Mataji's Jayanthi (Nov 5)

Devotees gather from different places for bhajans and Naama Sankeertanam. Paduka Pooja is performed and Annadanam is offered to nearly 1,200 people.

Kartheeka Mahannyasaam & Jyotirlinga Pooja

Rudrabhishekam, Damodara Pooja, Vana Bhojanam under the gooseberry tree, and Kartheeka Deepam lit by children on the hillock adjacent to the Ashram.

Tapovan Jayanthi / Geeta Jayanthi

Pooja at the altar of Parama Gurudev, Swami Tapovan Maharaj in the Tapovan Dhyana Mandir. Celebrating the divine message of the Bhagavad Gita.

Mataji's Aradhana

Bhoo-Pradakshina around the entire 24-acre Ashram with Namasankeertana, coconut offerings, Paduka Pooja, and Annadanam for all devotees.

Navaratri & Vijayadashami

Nine nights of Devi worship with Chandi Parayanam, cultural events, and Saraswati Puja.

Deepavali

Festival of lights with Lakshmi Puja, lamp lighting, fireworks, and community celebrations.

Chinmaya Hari Hara Vidyalaya celebrates festivals and cultural events that instil values, devotion, and heritage in every student.

Aksharabhyasam

Nursery children are initiated by writing "Om Namah Sivaaya" in Akshata with turmeric rhizome, blessed by Pujya Amma.

Gita Jayanthi Mahotsavam

Grand 7-day celebration with Gita chanting competitions, Gita Homam by students, and study classes for teachers.

Mata-Pitru Puja

On Pujya Mataji's Jayanthi (Nov 5), children perform pooja at the feet of their parents, followed by Paduka Puja at Mathru Mandir.

Vidyalaya Anniversary

Celebrated on February 8th with Sports Day, prize distributions, cultural programmes, skits, and dances.

Founder's Aradhana Day

Students and staff carry a devotional procession with Pujya Mataji's photo through Ellayapalle lanes.

Sankranthi Carnivals

Students celebrate with bull decoration, Pongal cooking, and a boy in Hari Das disguise singing the Lord's name.
